Message from CEO

At Woodstock Hospital, we are proud to be more than a healthcare facility. We are a trusted community partner, dedicated to improving the health and well-being of the people we serve.

Since opening our doors at the Juliana Drive location in 2011, Woodstock Hospital has grown into a modern, 178-bed community hospital, providing high-quality care close to home. We serve approximately 55,000 residents locally and nearly 135,000 people across Oxford County through a wide range of services, including Maternal Child and Women’s Health, specialized surgical care, mental health services, dialysis, rehabilitation, systemic therapy, and MRI services.

What defines our hospital is our commitment to people-centred care. Every day, Woodstock Hospital staff, physicians, volunteers, and valued community partners work together to ensure that patients and families feel heard, respected, and supported throughout their healthcare journey. We know that exceptional care is about more than clinical expertise. It is also about compassion and human connection. We offer care through delivery and post-natal treatment to ensure you a happy and the best possible birthing experience.

  • Woodstock Hospital offers Emergency services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On average we care for over 46,000 people every year.

  • The Maternal Child Unit welcomes over 900 new babies into the world each year. We provide individualized antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care within a family-centred framework.

  • Chemotherapy

    Woodstock Hospital works with the London Regional Cancer Centre to provide systemic chemotherapy services closer to home for referred patients from Oxford County.

  • Maternal Child Services

    The Maternal Child Unit welcomes over 900 new babies into the world each year. We provide individualized antepartum, intrapartum and postpartum care within a family-centred framework.

  • Surgical Services

    Woodstock Hospital’s Surgical Services Department is comprised of a highly skilled staff who provide progressive surgical techniques with modern equipment

  • Dialysis

    Routine hemodialysis is conducted in the Woodstock Hospital Dialysis Unit, where treatment is initiated and managed by specialized nurses and technicians.

  • Emergency Department

    Woodstock Hospital offers Emergency services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. On average we care for over 46,000 people every year.

  • Mental Health

    As a schedule 1 psychiatric facility, our Mental Health Department includes essential services that provide observation, care and treatment to all residents of Oxford County

  • Just wanted to mention that the staff was very helpful and pleasant to deal with. The IV nurse was awesome ..she really had to work in finding a vein and when she did ..it was on the first try…If and when we need hospital facilities or procedures Woodstock is definitely our preferred medical centre. Again thanks to the women for making my stay less stressful.

  • Much appreciation to all involved with my moms care. Food, cleaners, physio , doctors, all the people involved with next steps care and most importantly the nurses. Without you a hospital doesn’t function, with you patients get better. I’ve seen this with other people aside from my mom. As scary as it was to have my mom go home, turns out they were right. It’s ok and the change of environment has been good for my mom. I myself have used several services at WGH. Every time has been in a timely, friendly caring manner! Radiology you are FAST! I appreciate that after working all day.

  • I wish to pass along my sincere thanks to the health care providers at the Woodstock Hospital Emergency Department. All staff nurses and physician, were phenomenal. Everyone was calm, attentive, and helpful. My grandmother was able to clearly recite exactly which medications she was given, which tests were ordered, and all of the results. This tells me she understood what was happening to her and I know it’s only because the staff took the time to properly explain each step. For that, I am so grateful.

  • We would like to take the opportunity to sincerely thank all the wonderful staff who helped make the delivery of our daughter such a pleasant experience. Being the delivery of our first child we weren’t quite sure what to expect, but staff at every step of the way kept us informed and comfortable. Your wealth of knowledge, patience, and compassion was very much appreciated and truly helped us prepare for the transition home with our new bundle of joy.
