Public Reporting of Infection Rates

Patient safety remains the most important priority for Woodstock Hospital and this involves ensuring that patients are not at risk for contracting healthcare-associated infections.

In 2007, the Ministry of Health and Long-Term Care identified a number of safety indicators that all hospitals were required to publicly report their rates.  Woodstock Hospital strongly supports these initiatives, as we believe it encourages improved performance, enhanced patient safety and strengthens the public’s confidence in Ontario hospitals.

Woodstock Hospital takes your care and your safety seriously and we are committed to transparency.  The health and safety of our patients and staff is our first priority.
