How does Lifeline Work?
At the push of a button, a call is sent to the Lifeline control centre, where it is handled by caring and trained Lifeline Monitors. They have instant access to your health history and personal information on their computer screen to get the help you need - quickly.  Within seconds of pressing your button, a Lifeline Monitor communicates with you. They ask you what you need and then contact a neighbour, loved one or emergency services to come to your assistance based on your specific needs.

How much does Lifeline Cost?
Lifeline’s monthly monitoring fee is $35.00 and there is a one-time set-up fee. You are not required to purchase any equipment or make a long-term commitment. Lifeline gives you the confidence and freedom to live on your own, for as little as a $1/day.

How Do I Get Lifeline for Myself or a Family Member?
A Lifeline Representative will contact you to discuss program details and set up an appointment time to install the Lifeline equipment. During the appointment, we will take the time to thoroughly explain the service, answer any questions, collect your healthcare information, and install and test the equipment. On average, a Lifeline installation takes about an hour.

Whenever possible, we encourage a family member, friend or neighbour to attend the installation process. This often facilitates collection of health and protocol information for your file and ensures that those close to you are comfortable with how Lifeline works.
